Does IPTV Include Netflix, Disney+ and Prime Video?

This is one of the most common questions before buying IPTV — and one where a lot of providers are deliberately vague. Here’s the honest answer.

What IPTV actually gives you

An IPTV subscription delivers two things:

• Live TV channels — sports, news, entertainment, kids, international networks.
• A VOD library — a built-in catalogue of movies and TV series you can play on demand.

That VOD catalogue often contains many of the same titles you’d find on the big streaming platforms, but it is delivered through the IPTV player app, not through Netflix or Disney+ themselves. If you’re new to the concept, start with What is IPTV?

Why providers say “Netflix included”

When a provider advertises “Netflix, Disney+ and Prime included”, they almost always mean their VOD library carries content similar to those platforms — not that you get real accounts. Be sceptical of anyone promising genuine premium accounts bundled for a few dollars a month; it’s a classic red flag covered in our guide to choosing a provider.

IPTV vs streaming platforms

Can you use both together?

Yes, and many people do. IPTV covers live TV and sports — the thing streaming platforms are worst at — while Netflix or Disney+ covers their exclusive originals. On a Firestick or Android box you can run both side by side; see our best streaming device guide.

Does it replace cable?

For live TV and sports, yes — that’s exactly what most people use it for. Read Best IPTV for cord-cutters for the full comparison against cable.

Bottom line

IPTV does not include official Netflix, Disney+ or Prime Video accounts — and any provider claiming otherwise is overselling. What it does give you is live TV, live sports, and a big on-demand library for a single low price. See what’s actually included with a free trial.
